Meet Our Doulas

Cherise Gordon-Doyley, CEO

Cherise Gordon-Doyley is the CEO of Soul Sista Birth Services, LLC and the Executive Director of its Community Doula Program. With over seven years of experience as a birth and postpartum doula and more than a decade of personal breastfeeding experience, she brings deep compassion, cultural understanding, and real-life wisdom to the families she serves.

Known as Florida’s go-to expert on Medicaid for doulas, Cherise has helped countless birth workers navigate credentialing, billing, and launching community doula programs across the state. Her mission is rooted in birth justice and expanding access to high-quality, culturally centered care for marginalized communities — including Black, LGBTQ+, low-income, domestic violence survivors and CPS-involved parents.

At the heart of it all, she’s a passionate advocate, educator, and mama who believes every family deserves support, dignity, and informed care on their journey into parenthood.

Naundy Smith, Community Doula (Jacksonville, FL)

I’m a full-spectrum doula offering birth and postpartum support with care, compassion, and intention.

I’m also a proud mama of two — both of my babies were born naturally. One birth was with Pitocin, and the other was completely unmedicated. Two very different experiences, but both taught me how powerful and personal the birthing journey truly is.

I was lucky to have two amazing doulas (in two different states) by my side when I needed them most — especially during times when I didn’t always have support from family or friends. Their presence, knowledge, and reassurance helped me feel seen, heard, and strong.

That’s what inspired me to become a doula myself —so I can be that support for someone else.

Whether you’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or excited, you don’t have to walk this journey alone. I’m here to support you with love, encouragement, and evidence-based care from bump to baby and beyond.
